Danny Hendrix Business ManagerDaniel C. Hendrix is a second-generation pipeliner. He joined Pipeliners Local Union 798 in 1977 as a Welder Helper and changed his classification to Journeyman Welder in 1981. He has worked for Local 798 in many capacities, including Journeyman Welder, Job Steward, Welding Instructor, Dispatcher, and Director of Training. Danny served as a delegate to the 35th, 36th, 37th, 38th, 39th, and 40th UA Conventions. He was Local 798’s first graduate of the UA five‐year Instructor Training Program. He holds the following certifications: CPWI, CWI/AWS, Level II Radiographer, and UA‐ATR‐V. Danny currently serves as co‐chairman for the Pension, Health, 401(k), and Training Center Trust Funds. He serves on the Steering Committee and is a member of the Negotiating Committee for the National Pipeline Agreement. In August 2016, at the UA Convention, Danny was elected to serve a five‐year term as UA District Three Vice President with a territory encompassing 11 states. He is also the director of the Pipeliners Voluntary Fund. Danny currently resides in Claremore, Oklahoma, with his wife of over 40 years, Norma Kay.

Justin Wallace Business ManagerPhillip Justin Wallace is a second-generation Local 798 Journeyman Welder member. He was initiated into Pipeliners Local 798 on June 6, 1999, as a Welder Helper, and later changed his classification to Journeyman Welder. In the field, Justin worked as a Welder, Welder Foreman, and Job Steward. In 2012, Justin was appointed to the position of Pension and Contributions Manager at PIBF, where he worked for over 5 years. In January of 2018, Justin moved into the role of Financial Secretary-Treasurer and served in that capacity for the next 8 years. Justin was elected to serve as Business Manager of Local 798 and was sworn in on January 9, 2026.
Justin was also elected to represent Pipeliners Local 798 for the 39th, 40th, and upcoming 41st UA General Conventions. Justin also serves as the co-chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Pension, Healthcare, 401(k), and Training Center Trust Funds.
Justin was born and raised in Bald Knob, Arkansas, but has resided in Northeast Oklahoma for the last 14 years, along with his wife, Amy, and children, Wyatt and Tenley. Justin says, “It is the greatest honor of my professional life to be elected by the membership of Local 798 to serve as Business Manager of the greatest pipeliners in the world. This responsibility is not taken lightly, and I will strive every day to elevate this organization to new heights.”
