Cassidy Croley OrganizerCassidy Croley has worked on the pipeline since he was 20 years old. In 2009, Black Schroeder organized him, and he then tested in as a Journeyman Welder. He has been a proud member of Pipeliners Local Union 798 for 15 years. In 2013, Cassidy began to represent the membership on the ROW as a Job Steward. He has worked as a Job Steward for many different business agents and in several different jurisdictions. In 2021, Cassidy was honored to be elected to represent 798 as a delegate for the 40th UA Convention. Cassidy resides in Northeast Texas with his wife, Julie, and their four children, Kaden, Brooke, Cash, and Bo Catherine. In his spare time, Cassidy enjoys spending time with his family. Together they love hunting, fishing, camping, and anything outdoors. He is humbled to be appointed as a union organizer and looks forward to helping build the union and moving forward.

David N. Hall OrganizerDavid N. Hall is a first-generation Pipeliners Local Union 798 Journeyman Welder initiated on August 15, 2005. He has worked as a Journeyman Welder, Job Steward, Repair Welder, Technician, and Welder Foreman.
David was born in Ruston, Louisiana. He and his wife, Sonya, have been married for 25 years. She is currently in her fourteenth year of teaching at Pittsburg Junior High in Pittsburg, Texas, where she teaches eighth-grade math. David and Sonya were blessed with two sons, Dalton and Lane. Dalton is currently attending East Texas Baptist University in Marshall, Texas, working on his bachelor’s degree in sports training and playing on the Tiger baseball team. Lane is currently a freshman at Pittsburg High School, where he plays football as a linebacker and running back and also plays baseball in the spring.

Marcus Milstead OrganizerMarcus Milstead is a first-generation Journeyman Welder, having been organized by Mr. Curtis Leeper in 2001 when he became a member of Pipeliners Local Union 798. He has worked in the industrial trades, including new construction, maintenance, and upgrades to facilities and pipelines. He has served in many roles, both within the industry and in the union, including Inside Guard, Welder Foreman, Fabrication Foreman, Repair Welder, Tie-In Welder, and many others throughout his career. Marcus is honored to serve his Brother and Sister members as an Organizer. “It is truly humbling to have the opportunity to change minds, replace doubt with confidence, and build meaningful relationships from the corporate level to the men and women striving for change in their lives. Jacob Wallis OrganizerJacob Wallis is a first-generation 798 member. After working nonunion for several years, he joined Local 798 in December 2009. It has been one of the greatest opportunities of his life. Since joining, he has served as a Job Steward and Welder Foreman.
Jacob resides in Grandview, Texas, with his wife, Danyle, and their children, Jaleigh and Byron. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending his children’s sporting events, playing golf, and traveling. “I am honored, humbled, and proud to be a Local 798 organizer. I will work tirelessly to help our great local and our membership continue to prosper and be the standard of excellence. God bless and God bless 798.”

Mickey Westerman OrganizerMickey Westerman is an Organizer with Pipeliners Local Union 798, bringing more than a decade of experience in the trade and a strong commitment to union values. After joining Local 798 in 2009, following several years of nonunion work, Mickey saw firsthand the long-term benefits of union labor and has dedicated his career to helping others understand and access those same opportunities. He has worked through the trade as a Repair Welder, Job Steward, Welder Foreman, and now Organizer.
In his role as Organizer, Mickey specializes in networking and educating both individuals and contractors about the high-quality standards and benefits of union labor. He takes pride in strengthening relationships, expanding membership, and ensuring that Local 798 continues to set the benchmark for excellence in the pipeline industry.
Originally from Brownwood, Texas, Mickey is the proud father of six children: Levi, Cheyenne, Lexy, Charlotte, Grace, and Hazel. One of his greatest honors has been working alongside his son, Levi, who is also a member of Local 798. He currently resides in Curwensville, PA, with his wife, Taylor, and their three daughters. Outside of work, Mickey enjoys grilling and smoking food and studying family history.

Ralph “Barky” Zoller Lead OrganizerRalph Zoller (Barky) is a first-generation pipeliner who initiated into Pipeliners Local Union 798 as a Journeyman Welder in March of 2007. Since his initiation, he has worked as a Journeyman Welder, Testing and Repair Welder, Job Steward, and Welder Foreman. Before joining Local 798, he spent 12 years working for a gas company. Barky was born in Northeast Ohio, where he remains today. He married his wife Angie in 2006, and they have two children, Elizabeth and Robert. He enjoys spending time on his farm, hunting, and repairing tractors/equipment in his free time. Barky is grateful and feels truly blessed to represent Pipeliners Local Union 798 as an organizer and will proudly serve all of the members that have made this great local what it is today.
