The general session will also include topics such as general job safety, Job Steward and Welder Foreman responsibilities, and right-of-way etiquette. Mandatory for all participants. Thursday afternoon will include a Benefits session that will cover changes in the Health and Welfare, Pension, and 401(k) benefit programs. Spouses are encouraged to attend the Thursday afternoon session. Free child care will be provided.

Since the last Steward reporting forms class, there have been no changes to forms or the procedures of completing the forms. This year we are changing the agenda to tailor the class to focus on troubleshooting any specific issues that you may have while completing your reports. The class will be an opportunity to sit down one on one with a Local 798 staff member to answer any questions. This class is designed specifically for Stewards that are having issues with the Steward reporting forms. The class will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020, at 1 P.M., at the Local 798 Training Center in the conference room on the upper level.
